POPTS doctors claim continuity of care is why the own physical therapists – Dan confirms it’s for profits not better patient care

February 22, 2011

An interview with a patient, Dan who can compare and contrast POPTS (substandard care) with an independent practice (high quality care).

A few things to note (and we apologize for the quality – it wasn’t the best but the story is a shameful accounting of POPTS):

1. in the POPTS clinic they left the rehab up to the patient.

2. they left him on ice and electrical stimulation and went to lunch

3. there where 3 patients for every 1 provider – and some of those providers were not physical therapists

4. the doctor was never in the clinic to oversee the PT-in fact Dan said he doesn’t think he even cared.
